Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the CreatorTools website at creatortools.us (the “Site”) and all related services operated by CreatorTools (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using CreatorTools, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

Description of Services

CreatorTools provides a suite of online tools designed for content creators, including but not limited to:

  • Meta Tag Previewer — Preview how your web pages appear in search results and social media
  • Instagram Follower Analyzer — Analyze your Instagram follower/following data
  • AI Caption Generator — Generate social media captions using artificial intelligence

We may add, modify, or discontinue tools and features at any time without prior notice.

Account Registration

Some features require you to create an account. When registering, you agree to:

  • Provide a valid email address
  • Create a password of at least 8 characters
  • Keep your login credentials confidential
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Usage Tiers and Limits

CreatorTools offers multiple usage tiers:

  • Guest — Limited access without an account (3 AI caption generations per day, limited tool uses from a shared pool)
  • Free — Registered users with 25 tool uses per month and 5 AI caption generations per day
  • Pro — Paid subscribers with unlimited tool uses and 10 AI caption generations per day, plus access to advanced features

Usage limits reset on a monthly or daily basis depending on the feature. We reserve the right to adjust usage limits at any time. Attempts to circumvent usage limits (such as creating multiple accounts) may result in account termination.

Pro Subscriptions and Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed on a monthly or yearly basis through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

  • You authorize recurring charges to your payment method at the applicable rate
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
  • We may change pricing with 30 days’ advance notice — continued use after price changes constitutes acceptance

All payments are processed by Stripe and subject to their Terms of Service.

AI-Generated Content

Our AI Caption Generator uses third-party AI models (OpenAI) to produce content. Regarding AI-generated content:

  • No guarantees of accuracy — AI-generated captions may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate content. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all generated content before use.
  • Ownership — You retain rights to the content you create using our tools, subject to any applicable third-party terms. We do not claim ownership of content you generate.
  • Your responsibility — You are solely responsible for how you use AI-generated content, including ensuring it complies with applicable laws, platform terms of service, and does not infringe on third-party rights.
  • No reliance — AI-generated content should not be relied upon as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use CreatorTools to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users’ accounts, or data
  • Circumvent rate limits, usage restrictions, or security measures
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access our services without prior written consent
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our services
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our services
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to our tools without prior written consent
  • Use our services in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Site

Intellectual Property

The CreatorTools website, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and text content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by CreatorTools and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without prior written consent.

Third-Party Services and Content

Our services may interact with or display content from third-party platforms (such as Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok). We are not affiliated with these platforms and are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability. Your use of third-party data with our tools must comply with those platforms’ terms of service.

Privacy

Your use of CreatorTools is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Disclaimer of Warranties

CreatorTools is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CreatorTools and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of our services, regardless of the theory of liability.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of CreatorTools shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CreatorTools from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to CreatorTools at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability) shall survive.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of CreatorTools shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of CreatorTools after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
